Anthropologie Lucite Lust

Is it just me or does that title seem like a mouth full?  I have been lusting over all of Anthropologie's Oscarine's lucite line recently.  I'm a sucker for gold, but combine that with a lucite deco feeling piece of furniture and I'm sold.  Brad and I are in the market for a new bed and believe it or not my very much anti gold husband ("gold is for old people") actually really likes this bed.  I couldn't believe it!  I think I'm slowing teaching him that gold isn't just for grandmas, but used sparingly and mixed with other metals can be youthful.  

This bed would POP off a black or crisp white wall.

This would be so pretty in a guest room or a girls room.  Imagine a big pastel floral wallpaper behind this headboard.  You would notice it, yet it would also disappear into the floral wall.

Just imagine that bed in front of this wallpaper.  Stunning

I'm also looking at this bed by Bernhardt which has an upholstered headboard as opposed to the Anthropologie one.  This stunning bed just won the Pinnacle Award for best bedroom design for 2016 at High Point market.  I can see why too!

Could you handle a lucite bed in your bedroom?  Or even more daring?  Lucite and GOLD?  Trust me, if my husband can handle it, you can too!
